Good Friday, 2011 (Friday, April 22) started out as just another day for 43 year-old Scott Auden of Colchester, Connecticut. By that afternoon, while driving his 7 year-old daughter home from school, something started to feel "not quite right." By that evening, Scott was being airlifted to Hartford Hospital for the fight of his life; the result of a near fatal brain hemorrhage.

In the weeks that have followed, Scott has made nothing but a miraculous recovery but it's only the beginning. Along with the physical and mental challenges that Scott will be faced with, there are also the never-ending financial challenges that Scott and his wife Heather (and by extension their 7 year-old daughter and 5 year-old son) are facing as only time will tell when Scott will be able to work again.

The Auden Family Fundraiser will take place on Sunday, June 12, from 2:00 6:00 pm at the legendary Bart's Drive-In restaurant, 55 Palisado Avenue in Windsor, Connecticut. This event will include "family-friendly" entertainment and live music featuring String Theorie and The Rude Mechanicals, plus the delicious, classic drive-in food that Bart's is famous for!
Bart's Drive-In is right near the Farmington River and it's Shad fishing season, so feel free to get some fishing in while listening to some great music!
